Every time you search for skincare or wellness gear, you are hit with a wall of heavy social media filters, fake 5-star reviews, and influencers paid to tell you an $80 serum is a “must-have.” We built GlowInLuxe out of sheer frustration. We got tired of wasting our hard-earned money on overpriced, white-labeled creams that cause breakouts. Our mission is simple: to be the ultimate bullshit-detectors for everyday buyers.
Who We Are We aren’t a massive corporate beauty magazine, and we aren’t paid by luxury brands. GlowInLuxe is a decentralized collective of everyday people working from home across different districts. We are ingredient nerds, bargain hunters, and obsessive researchers who came together over a shared passion for finding routines that actually work.
How We Track the Data (Our Reality-Check Protocol) We don’t pretend to personally test 10,000 products in a sterile lab. Instead, our superpower is community-driven research.
- The Network: We talk constantly. We pull insights from private WhatsApp groups, Facebook communities, and Instagram chats with friends, family, and strangers who actually use this stuff on their real skin.
- The Deep Dive: We spend up to 40 hours a week digging through niche Reddit skincare threads to find long-term reactions, and we analyze unsponsored YouTube routines to see what the texture looks like without studio lighting.
- The Metrics That Matter: We grade products on two strict rules: The Day-60 Reality Check (does it still work after two months?) and The Irritation Risk Score (tracking severe breakouts and allergic complaints).
